About ICAG

What is the minimum age for ICAG?

18 years old.

How many levels in ICAG?

3 levels, 14 papers total. Level 1 (4), Level 2 (6), Level 3 (4).

When are ICAG exams held?

Three times a year — March, July and November.

What is the ICAG pass mark?

50% per paper.

Is Level 1 now computer-based?

Yes. From 2025, Level 1 uses CBE — Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).

Can I get ICAG exemptions?

Yes, at Levels 1 and 2 only. No exemptions at Level 3 under any circumstances.

What is the ICAG registration fee?

GHS 400 registration (one-time) + GHS 400 annual subscription.

How do I register?

Visit sms.icagh.org. You need WASSCE (6 credits incl. English & Maths) or HND/Degree.

About CITG

What is the minimum age for CITG?

18 years old.

How many levels in CITG?

3 levels, 12 papers. Professional (6) + Final Level 1 (3) + Final Level 2 (3).

When are CITG exams held?

Twice a year — February and August.

Can Final Level 2 papers be split across sessions?

No. All 3 must be sat in the same session — no exceptions.

What is the time limit to complete CITG?

10 years from the date of registration.

What qualifications give CITG exemptions?

ICAG, ACCA, ICMA, CIPFA and Ghana Bar Association members may be exempt from all Professional Level papers.
